Titus

Overview

Titus is a young pastor in a church in Crete. Paul writes to him about the structure of the church encouraging him to appoint spiritual men as elders and as overseers of the church. All spiritual men and women have a place to play in the organisation and growth of the church.

Immorality was rife in Crete at that time and Paul emphasised the need for spiritual living. He stresses that good works are the natural fruit of spiritual growth and are profitable and desirable for all believers.
